Section 01
What Data We Collect
ART-IQ collects only the data necessary to provide and improve its intelligence services. We collect data in the following ways:
Data you provide directly:
- Name and email address submitted through any ART-IQ form
- Questionnaire answers submitted through the Collector DNA Matrix, Artist DNA Matrix, or Gallery DNA Matrix
- Optional fields: Instagram handle, website URL, gallery link, Artsy link
- Open-text responses in Q10 (structural barrier/friction) and Q11 (intelligence target)
- Inquiry messages submitted through the contact form
- Newsletter signup email address
Data collected automatically:
- IP address (used for rate limiting — not stored permanently)
- Browser user agent (for security logging only)
- Page views and interaction events via Google Analytics GA4 (anonymized)
We do not collect payment card data. All payments are processed directly by Stripe, Inc.
Section 02
How We Use Your Data
- To generate and deliver your intelligence profile (DNA Matrix report, ARS score, vulnerability brief)
- To send your intelligence report and certificate to the email address you provided
- To calibrate future ART-IQ intelligence outputs you commission — your profile is stored so subsequent reports are more precise
- To send the intelligence briefing newsletter if you subscribed
- To respond to inquiries submitted through the contact form
- To improve ART-IQ's analytical frameworks using aggregated, anonymized data patterns
- To notify you of material changes to these terms if your email is on file
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling for third parties, or any purpose not listed above.
Section 03
How We Store & Protect Your Data
- All data is stored in a MySQL database hosted on Hostinger servers
- All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.3
- Database access is restricted to ART-IQ system processes only
- PHP backend files are protected from direct browser access via server configuration
- Rate limiting is applied to all form submissions to prevent automated abuse
- No payment card data is ever stored — all payments handled by Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure
Section 04
Who We Share Data With
ART-IQ does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes. Your data is shared only with the following service providers strictly for the purpose of delivering the service:
- Google Gemini (Google LLC) — Your questionnaire answers are transmitted to Google's Gemini AI API to generate your intelligence report. Google's data processing terms apply. Data is not retained by Google for training purposes under our API agreement.
- Hostinger International Ltd. — Your data is stored on Hostinger's servers. Hostinger's privacy policy applies to infrastructure-level data handling.
- Stripe, Inc. — Payment processing only. ART-IQ does not transmit personal data to Stripe beyond what is necessary to process your transaction.
- Google Analytics (Google LLC) — Anonymized page view and interaction data. No personally identifiable information is transmitted to Google Analytics.
Section 05
Cookies & Analytics
ART-IQ uses Google Analytics GA4 to understand how visitors interact with the platform. This service uses cookies to collect anonymized data including pages visited, time on page, and interaction events.
We do not use advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, or any third-party marketing cookies.
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Right to Access
Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Right to Erasure
Request deletion of your personal data from our systems.
Right to Rectification
Request correction of inaccurate personal data we hold.
Right to Portability
Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Right to Object
Object to processing of your data for certain purposes.
Right to Withdraw Consent
Withdraw newsletter consent at any time via unsubscribe link.

Section 07
Data Retention
- DNA Matrix profiles are retained indefinitely to calibrate future intelligence outputs — unless you request deletion
- Contact form inquiries are retained for 24 months
- Newsletter email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion
- IP addresses used for rate limiting are stored temporarily and purged after 24 hours
- Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months per Google's standard retention policy

Children's Privacy
ART-IQ is a professional intelligence platform intended for adults operating in the art market. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has submitted data through our platform, contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.
Section 09
Changes to This Policy
ART-IQ may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. For material changes affecting how we use your data, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users by email.
